WHAT IS THE HIKERS FRIENDLY CERTIFICATION?
“Hikers Friendly” is a certification for services related to hiking activities. It is currently available only for hotels, but it will soon be open for other sectors. It has been developed by the Social Co-operative Paths of Greece, in collaboration with Green Evolution. Its ultimate aim is to enhance the hiking experience by upgrading the services offered to the hikers.
Paths of Greece is a Social Co-operative that works in the development and promotion of hiking trail destinations in Greece. It was founded in 2010 and since then it has developed many hiking trails around the country.
Green Evolution is a company that offers integrated environmental services. It was created by a group of environmental, engineering, financial and legal experts who are specialists in environment, energy and carbon finance.
